Their own shepherds pity them not.

The following sermon was preached by Rev. David Fraser, Minister of Shettleston, on the Sabbath Morning Communion service on the 28th of June, 2009. This is an exposition of the shepherd prophecies concerning Christ in Zechariah. It traces the path of Christ through the prophecy in order to lead us to a rememberance of Him worthily. It is a contrast between The Good Shepherd and hireling or worthless shepherds of the flock of God. Your are invited to put your feet in the footprints of your Master and take Him as your guide.

The text is Zech11:12… And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver.
