whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

The following sermon was preached by Rev. Calum I. Macleod on the Sabbath Evening, 23rd of August, 2009. Dear Christian brethren, is your heart’s desire and prayer to God for your loved ones, that they might be saved? This was Paul’s prayer for Israel and it ought to be ours for those that know not Christ in this world. This is a word for both the saved and the unsaved; a sermon under 3 headings. 1. The prayer for the unsaved. 2. The problem with the unsaved. 3. The provision for the unsaved. Have you asked Christ to give you saving faith? It is His gift to give. Oh, the same Lord is rich unto all that call upon Him. “Ask”, He says, “and it shall be given unto you”.

The text is Romans 10:12-13… For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
