Forgiveness: I would like to give you two biblical definitions of forgiveness. Hebrews quoting Jeremiah: “I will remember their sins and their lawless deeds no more.” Isaiah’s record of Ezekiah’ s prayer: “but in love you have delivered my life from the pit of destruction, for you have cast all my sins behind your back.”

Cleansing: God promises here what he promised through Isaiah: “Come now, let us reason together, says the LORD: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool.”
