  2. Giving is about God’s people – reveals our desires, our priorities, our faith
  3. Giving is for God’s house – (temple) provision of a building where God is to be worshipped, (priests) provision for a pastor to study God’s word to open it to the people, (widows) provision for the needy
  4. God’s promises are attached to giving (Malachi 3: 10) Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need. Put God to the test. He will bring blessing (maybe in this life, maybe in the life to come).
