Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin.

The following sermon was preached at the prayer meeting on the 17th of June, 2009. As long as we are in this world sin remains a reality in the life of the Christian. There is a conflict between sin on the one side and the new nature on the other. This sermon is an exposion of these difficult verses in John’s letter and considers them under three headings. 1. Abiding sin 2. Abiding in sin and 3. Abhoring sin.

The text is 1Jo 3:9… Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin.
