This Psalm does not promise a problem-free life. God in this Psalm promises that when troubles come he, in his own time and ways, will deliver them.
From all troubles: (v. 6, 17)
From all fears: (v. 4)
From shame: (v. 5) Sin brings shame.
From all afflictions: (v. 19)
From judgment: (v. 22)
- God’s nearness:
For protection:
For help: (v. 15)
For comfort: (v.18) God is near to those who are in need of strength.

Always: The psalmist has experienced the goodness of God. He knows that goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life…
